Ava DuVernay and Autumn Riley

Ava DuVernay is a Californian born in Long Beach on the 24th of August, 1972. DuVernay grew up with her Aunt Denise she urged DuVernay to be creative and drawn by art. Aunt Denise was a nurse who worked night shifts so she could spend her time to writing, reading theatre, and various other pursuits. She introduced DuVernay to the film of 1961 West Side Story and DuVernay fell in love with it. DuVernay realized that art could be powerful in promoting political activism. DuVernay grew up with a mother who was well-informed and taught her how to use art as a method of expression. DuVernay who was born together with her parents in Compton was a summer resident in Lowndes County Alabama in the house of her father's family. The father of DuVernay's remembered watching the historic Civil Rights march through the Edmund Pettus Bridge, in the nearby town of Selma Alabama. DuVernay would make use of the summers that she spent in the state to stimulate her film Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. DuVernay was a graduate from Saint Joseph High School Lakewood California, in 1990. DuVernay went to the University of California Los Angeles upon graduation. There she received diplomas in English and African American Studies. DuVernay began to produce for broadcast journalism while she was in the college. She was an intern with CBS News at the time of the O.J. Simpson trial. DuVernay was recalled having the responsibility of looking over the home and looking through the garbage of one of members of the juries. In the aftermath of being dissatisfied in journalistic work by the assignments that she was assigned, the journalist decided to pursue a career in public relations. DuVernay began her career working as a junior press assistant for a film studio that was small following her graduation from the college. In 1999, she established her own company of public relations, dubbed The DuVernay Agency. In addition, she started various lifestyle networks and promotions, such as The Urban Beauty Collective. Autumn Riley.............................Autumn Riley was born in Los Angeles United States. Her birth name is . Her name is associated with a well-known actress and has appeared in American Experience (1987), A More Perfect Union (2009), and other films. Autumn was Rose as Rose in A More Perfect Union, and Anna Payne in American Experience.
